Walker’s Legacy joins forces with Capital One to host unique conversation highlighting opportunities for women of color in tech.

Women of Color Fireside and Reception will gather influential and successful women in technology, media, and education to discuss creating pathways of success for women in business.  

Austin, TX – Capital One and Walker’s Legacy are pleased to present Women of Color in Tech, a fireside panel discussion with women in-process of building and managing businesses or careers in tech, media, and education on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Capital One Cafe, 106 E. 6th Street in Austin, Texas.  Attendees will participate in conversations focusing on ways to empower multicultural women with aspirations to build careers in technology and will explore solutions for addressing the funding and mentorship gap that many women of color entrepreneurs often experience.

Walker’s Legacy exist to inspire, equip, and engage through thought-provoking conversations and educational programming.  This particular event will invite attendees to participate and focus on recent achievements of multicultural women in entrepreneurship.  


Walker’s Legacy founder and CEO Natalie M. Cofield will join Theresa Bedeau Capital One’s Vice President of Community Development Banking, alongside other notable entrepreneurs and professionals to discuss opportunities for women of color in business.   Austin-based entrepreneur Marissa Limsiaco, founder of Tenavox, will join the panel to discuss her innovative API that will revamp the commercial real estate industry.
