NMC Consulting Group Provides Entrepreneurship Training for DC Youth Advisory Council

Two-day seminar to cover entrepreneurship and professional development for exceptional DC Youth

Washington, DC – Understanding the critical need to encourage entrepreneurship and professional development amongst youth in their most formative years, the NMC Consulting Group has been commissioned to conduct a two-day training seminar to address entrepreneurship and professional development for DC young leaders.  The seminar series is part of a month long training program provided by the DC Youth Advisory Council as part of its initiative to train and develop the future council members.   Participants for the program are competitively selected from Washington, DC based high-schools and range in age from 14-21 year old.

The seminar aims to increase awareness of career opportunities and entrepreneurship; facilitate professional development learning opportunities to high school students; provide a structure for designing a career and professional development action plan and expose participants to case studies of successful professionals in business and society.

Through the program, NMC Consulting Group continues its efforts to promote and support entrepreneurship and is the first in a line of upcoming programs to address youth and unemployment issues in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
